START SMART
12K Essential is designed for customers who want meaningful solar and battery capability without paying for maximum backup capacity on day one. Start with priority loads and a practical storage configuration, then expand as electricity requirements, resilience goals, or budget change.
Essential continuity
Maintain selected refrigeration, lighting, internet, security, outlets, and other priority circuits during outages.
Practical starting point
Begin with a capable system without unnecessarily oversizing solar or storage.
Built to expand
Increase solar capacity, battery storage, or backed-up loads where the selected platform and project conditions allow.
COORDINATED HYBRID ARCHITECTURE
Solar. Storage. Backup. One coordinated system.
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
Hybrid inverter — 12 kW split-phase hybrid inverter class
Solar array — Approximately 7–8 kW DC
Battery storage — 2 × approximately 16.08 kWh lithium batteries
Nominal storage — Approximately 32.16 kWh
Backup architecture — Dedicated essential-load distribution
Operation — Grid-interactive solar + battery
Expansion — Additional solar, storage, and backup coverage subject to system limits and project requirements
Final configuration is based on electricity use, backup priorities, site conditions, equipment compatibility, and future expansion requirements.
RESILIENCE
12K Essential starts by identifying the loads that should remain available during an outage rather than assuming every circuit requires backup.
Typical priorities
Refrigeration, lighting, internet and communications, security, selected outlets, and selected pumps or other critical equipment where electrical requirements permit.
Expansion options
Additional solar, battery storage, backed-up circuits, and generator integration can be planned into the initial architecture.
Air-conditioning, motor loads, pumps, simultaneous demand, and expected backup duration are confirmed during system design.
GOOD FIT
12K Essential may fit well when the objective is: Reliable backup for selected priority loads; Lower dependence on utility electricity; A capable starting configuration with room for future solar and storage growth; Coordinated equipment rather than independently selected products.
When we would configure differently
If the project requires immediate whole-property backup, substantial air-conditioning, very long autonomous runtime, or unusually high simultaneous demand, we configure the system around those requirements instead of forcing the project into Essential.
QUALITY BY DESIGN
WATTS UP JM coordinates solar generation, battery storage, power conversion, protection, distribution, monitoring, and future expansion as one system. Equipment is selected according to electrical requirements, compatibility, environmental conditions, availability, support, warranty, and project objectives.
Manufacturer neutral. Requirements first. Equipment selected as part of the complete system.
12 kW hybrid power conversion
Coordinated around solar, storage, grid, backup, and generator requirements.
Expandable battery storage
Configured around usable energy, backup priorities, and future capacity requirements.
12K ESSENTIAL
Share your project location, electricity use, backup priorities, and what you want the system to accomplish. We will determine whether 12K Essential fits the requirement or whether the project should be configured differently.
